One of our favorite ways to challenge ourselves is to find a way to style similar, if not identical, pieces for both Beth and I. Because we are at such different points in our lives, are different ages, and have differing styles, it’s always fun to see what we come up with! In this post, Beth and I wanted to try out a chic and professional fall look. We decided to both pair turtlenecks with our favorite fall skirt, and choose a shoe that we thought worked best!
I ended up pairing a thin polo turtleneck with a burgundy leather Tahari skirt, and my Banana Republic leopard heels. Although I don’t generally gravitate toward patterns, I love the fun pop these give to the color pallet of my outfit.
Beth is wearing a short-sleeve black Ralph Lauren turtleneck with a grey wool Zara skirt, and over the knee boots. The length of this skirt is more appropriate for her to pair with these boots, and avoids looking like she’s trying to be Kendall Jenner (which, as her daughter, I have to say, I’m happy about).
