Within the past year, I’ve learned a lot. I’ve learned how to survive nights with friends in the city that last until 5 am (or later) and still make it to brunch the next morning, how to walk in heels for 15 hours during Paris market and stuff your swollen feet back into the same heels the very next day, how to oversee interns and all of the drama that goes along with them, and lastly, how to make a name for yourself and move-up within a company.
With all that I’ve learned over the past year, a lot of the lessons blur lines between business and personal. What I learned with KF has helped me grown in my personal life, and vice versa. During my first year with Kf, I traveled to Paris, Arkansas, and DC. I learned that wanderlust could be tamed a lot easier than I had previously thought, and that an extravagant trip to an exotic location isn’t necessary to feel like you’re seeing the world. Even a long weekend will suffice to explore a new city.
In the beginning of June, I spent a mere 72 hours in Nashville, TN, but am able to say that I had a jam packed weekend full of food, music, photos and memories with my best friend. Read on for a snapshot of my weekend in Tennessee and for recommendations of where to plan photo-shoots, eat the best breakfast burrito, and dance the night away to your favorite American classics. This will be a three-part post because I have so much to share!
